MISS UNIVERSE SAUDI ARABIA – This country is finally joining the international pageant and this beauty queen is its first representative. Saudi Arabia is making history as the country finally decided to join the competition with 27-year-old Rumy Alqahtani as their first-ever representative.

Saudi Arabia will join the Miss Universe 2024 pageant for the first time.

MISS UNIVERSE 2024 – Saudi Arabia officially joins the most prestigious international pageant with Rumy Alqahtani as the representative.

In this upcoming Miss Universe pageant, Saudi Arabia will make a debut. The said country will officially join the international pageant and its first-ever representative is Rumy Alqahtani.

This good news has been shared by the beauty queen on Instagram and furthered into sharing her journey as the first candidate of Saudi Arabia to compete in Miss Universe.

“Honored to participate in Miss Universe 2024. This is the first participation of Saudi Arabia in the Miss Universe competition,” Alqahtani wrote in her caption. This is not the first time of the beauty queen to represent the country in an international pageant.

She represented Saudi in pageants like Miss Planet International, Miss Global Asia, and more.

This year’s international pageant will be held in Mexico later this years. Candidates of other countries are now gearing up for this and among them is Philippine actress Franki Russel was appointed as Miss Universe New Zealand 2024. Her advocacy is about cyberbullying, a prevalent problem among the people worldwide.

It may not be the flag that you prefer, but I am so excited because this particular pageant represents a lot more than that,” Russel said about this.

Meanwhile, Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua is the reigning Miss Universe. 

As for the Philippines, the MUPH 2024 candidates have already been introduced. Among the candidates were not newbie in this field like Victoria Velasquez Vincent (Miss Universe Philippines-Charity 2021), Kris Tiffany Janson (Miss Intercontinental 2014 2nd runner-up), Stacey Gabriel (Binibining Pilipinas 2022 2nd runner-up), Ahtisa Manalo (Miss International 2018 1st runner-up), and Christi McGarry (Miss Intercontinental 2015 1st runner-up).
