What Universal Studios Japan tickets should you get?

USJ or the Universal Studios Japan is a massive theme park and among the most-visited theme parks in the world. This park is twice as large as the Universal Studios Singapore. USJ is in Osaka, Japan’s third largest city and this is just one of the four Universal Studios globally.

It has some of the best theme park rides and attractions and one of the best they boast about is their Super Nintendo World area, the first theme park to have this feature.

Some of the best rides were replaced by new ones E.T. Adventure was replaced by Space Fantasy – The Ride in 2010 while the Back To The Future was replaced by Despicable Me Minion Mayhem in 2017.

The most famous The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened in 2014 and in 2017, the Minion Park opened.

With a lot of things to do inside the park, what ticket should you get?

There are two main ticket types: Studio Passes and Express Passes.

Studio Passes

  • 1 Day – Direct entry for one entire day
  • 1.5 Days – Direct entry for two days but the admission will begin at 15:00 on the first day
  • 2 Days – Direct entry for two entire days
