3 Drunk Men Found Sleeping on Roadside

Three drunk men were unable to make it home due to excessive drinking, leading them to pass out on the roadside.

Intoxication refers to a state where a person’s normal physical or mental functions are impaired due to the consumption of substances such as alcohol, drugs, or other toxic substances.

When someone is intoxicated, they may experience symptoms such as impaired coordination, slurred speech, altered perception of reality, lowered inhibitions, and impaired judgment.

It can lead to temporary effects like feeling lightheaded or more serious consequences such as loss of consciousness, respiratory depression, or even death in extreme cases.

Recently, the Facebook page Palawan Star shared photos of three men peacefully sleeping on the side of the road. The post immediately spread like wildfire on social media and garnered reactions from the netizens.

The intoxicated individuals failed to reach their homes and succumbed to sleepiness on the streets of Brgy. Bancao-bancao, Puerto Princesa.

The City Anti Crime Task Force roused and sent home these three gentlemen after finding them fast asleep by the roadside around 2:39 AM on Friday early morning (April 26, 2024), authorities came across the men snoozing by the roadside due to intoxication.

As a result, the authorities temporarily disturbed their sleep and escorted them home to continue their rest in the safety of their own beds.
