Rabiya Mateo is no longer part of ‘TiktoClock’

Kapuso actress-host Rabiya Mateo left the morning variety show Tiktoclock and this is the reason behind this.

After her stint in pageantry, Rabiya signed a contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center. She was given some acting and hosting projects. When Tiktoclock was launched in 2022, she was one of the pioneer hosts with comedienne Pokwang and seasoned TV host Kim Atienza.

However, it was recently revealed that Rabiya is no longer part of the show. Comedienne Herlene Budol replaced her.

Based on the article in PEP, Rabiya Mateo was asked to clarify the reason why she left the show. “Tapos na po ang contract ko with TiktoClock. Thankful naman po ako sa show kasi first hosting job ko ito,” she said, adding that she hopes to have more opportunities to have acting projects.

Currently, Rabiya is part of the afternoon Kapuso series Makiling but this will end this coming May 3 and this will be replaced by the Philippine adaptation of Voltes V.

In past interviews, the Ilongga beauty has been very vocal about establishing her name in showbiz as an actress. This is the reason why she was so happy when she was given a chance to be part of the series Royal Blood last year.

Right now, as her current series is set to end next month and she is no longer part of the morning variety show, Rabiya is still waiting for her home network’s decision for her next project.

Meanwhile, aside from her blooming showbiz career, Rabiya Mateo also has a blooming love life with her boyfriend actor Jeric Gonzales. Although they broke up, the actress gave the actor a second chance. She also did not mind the rumors about her boyfriend.
