Jinggoy Estrada and JV Ejercito raised each other’s hands

Politicians Jinggoy Estrada and JV Ejercito ended their “hidwaan” during the proclamation ceremony for winning senators in the 2022 elections.

It is known in the political arena that Jinggoy and JV had a conflict because of certain issues. Years went by and the siblings continued to be not on good terms with each other.

The sons of former President Joseph Estrada said in a previous interview that it would be difficult for them to reconcile. JV said that it is difficult to have a conflict with anyone but it is inevitable also. Previously, Jinggoy also said that it is impossible for them to reconcile for now.

However, both of them stressed that they are willing to work with each in the Senate for the Filipino people. The siblings were among the magic 12 senators who won the elections.

On May 18, the Commission on Elections formally proclaimed the winning Senators. After the group photo, based on the article in PEP, Jinggoy Estrada approached JV Ejercito for them to shake hands.

The crowd inside the PICC was cheering for the siblings when Jinggoy raised the hand of his younger brother as a sign that there is no more “hidwaan” between them. Then, they hugged each other and this made their fellow elected Senators smile.

During the event, Jinggoy Estrada was accompanied by his wife Precy and their children Janella, Jolo, Julian, and Jill while JV Ejercito was joined by his mom Guia Gomez and his children Jose Emilio and Julio Jose.
