Claudine Barretto Reveals Why She’s Not Entertaining Suitors

Optimum Star Claudine Barretto revealed the reason why she is not entertaining suitors right now.

Claudine is still legally married to actor Raymart Santiago. They separated years ago but they are still in the process of their annulment. The actor now has a relationship with actress Jodi Sta Maria.

In Claudine’s part, she wants to wait for the annulment. She does not want to enter into a new relationship until she is totally single.

In a recent interview, Claudine Barretto said that she has no love life right now and it is her choice not to accept suitors. The Optimum has this choice because she is waiting for the annulment and she does not want to be in a relationship while this is not yet finished.

“Wala pa ring laman ang puso ko kundi mga anak ko. Sa ilang years kong hiwalay, kasal pa rin ako. Ayokong makita ng mga anak ko na may ibang lalaki na umaaligid or magkaroon ako ng ibang relasyon until matapos ang annulment namin ni Raymart,” she said.

The actress also said that she is not accepting suitors now even though there had been some rumors. She stressed that her heart is closed for a new love until the annulment comes.

Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Claudine Barretto’s Lovers & Liars onscreen partner Yasser Marta admitted that he falls for the Optimum Star. He said that it is easy to be attracted to his leading lady because of her personality.

“I am going to be honest. Ako naman ‘yung naramdaman ko at that moment naging totoo ako. Gusto ko naman talaga si Claudine,” Yasser said.

It can be recalled that rumors linking them surfaced when the actor was seen spending the new year with Claudine’s family. Yasser is also close to the actress’s children.
