6 Pasay Police who Released Chinese National with Multiple Violations Dismissed

Six (6) members of the Pasay City Police have been dismissed from service after they released a Chinese national with multiple violations.

The officers were from the Pasay City police’s Sub-Station 10. According to the report, they were arrested and sacked after reportedly releasing a Chinese national without a license who was captured last week.

Major Crisanto Racoma, Lt. Noelson Garcera, SSgtJohnvir Tagaca, Cpls. Jayson Lunas, Jerson Bauzon, and Christian Cadingan, all assigned to Pasay City Sub-Station 10 at the Mall of Asia (MOA), were all the arrested police officers according to NCRPO director Major Gen. Vicente Danao.

The officers involved in the suspected illicit actions were moved to the Pasay City Police Admin Holding Area (PCPAHA), where their service firearms were confiscated by Pasay police head P/Colonel Cesar Paday-os. Danao’s text message to Paday-os concerning the involvement of his workers was the only way he learned about the incident, according to Paday-os.

According to Paday-os, as soon as he learned about the occurrence, he summoned the officers involved to his office, where they were confronted for their illegal conduct. According to a report released on October 2, the six officers involved in Oplan Sita arrested a Chinese national for driving violations.

A roni kit for a gun, some ammunition from a.9mm caliber pistol, as well as personal goods such as a Chinese Rolex watch, cellular phones, laptop, and money were discovered during a police search of the Ford Mustang driven by the Chinese. The police only issued an official violation receipt (OVR) and released it after the inspection.

No charges of unlawful ammunition possession have been brought against the Chinese national they have charged for unknown reasons. The police officers involved in the illicit action would be charged with criminal obstruction of justice by the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office, according to Paday-os.
