Makati City backs Makatrix Robotics Team’s World Championship stint

MANILA, Philippines — Makati City is supporting Makati High School’s robotics team which is set to compete in the 2024 VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, Texas by shouldering its transportation and accommodation expenses. The Makatrix Robotics Team, is composed of Grade 12 students John Ashley Alvarado, Enriquito Yamzon, Brian Bernabe, and Fritz Rivera. They are the Philippines’ lone secondary public school representative for the world championship from April 25 to May 3.
