Carla Abellana stars in a new series with Bea Alonzo

Kapuso actress Carla Abellana revealed that working with her fellow Sparkle artist Bea Alonzo is a “wish come true.”

Carla and Bea are working together on the upcoming Kapuso series Widow’s War. This is the first project they have together and Carla is very excited about this.

The Kapuso homegrown talent admitted during a recent interview that working with Bea is a wish come true for her interview, based on the article in Inquirer.

Carla Abellana said that she does not mind what role she will play because it was important for her to share the same frame with Bea Alonzo.

“My goodness! Dream ko ‘yun. It’s a wish of mine na nagkatotoo. Kahit ano mang role ‘yan, as long as maka-work ko si Bea, more than happy na ako,” Carla said.

However, in their first project together, Carla is more ecstatic that she is acting alongside Bea. “But to work alongside her, tapos ‘yung characters namin ay best friends turned enemies, even more exciting. Lagi akong nasa-starstruck kapag nakaka-eksena ko siya,” she said.

Carla also shared that Bea takes her role seriously. She revealed that Bea is really involved in the process from the writing of the script to how the attack will be done for the characters.

For Carla, Bea is also well-rounded and she really oversees everything. “She means business. She’s very serious about her craft,” she added.

Talking about their series together, Carla cannot divulge the details yet but she said that this follows a “mysterious” storyline. Because of this, she is trying to be open-minded. They have no idea what will happen and this makes her excited.
