Claudine Barretto made a controversial statement about her estranged husband

A source revealed that Optimum Star Claudine Barretto did not know that there was a gag order that was supposed to hinder her from speaking about the legal battle between her and actor Raymart Santiago.

Claudine had a controversial statement against her estranged husband that caught the attention of the online community. During an interview on Luis Listens, the YouTube talk show of Kapamilya host Luis Manzano, the actress revealed that Raymart took her hundreds of millions.

The former couple separated a long time ago but their marriage is not yet annulled. In the past, Claudine has been complaining about the financial support that Raymart gives to their children.

Following the controversial statement that Claudine Barretto had, Raymart Santiago stressed in a statement that the court released a gag order. This means that both camps are not allowed to speak about the legal battle they have against each other.

Because of that, the portion in Luis Manzano’s vlog in which the Optimum Star was speaking about her estranged husband was deleted.

In a recent Showbiz Update vlog of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, he and his co-hosts Mama Loi and Dyosa Pockoh, talked about the Claudine-Raymart issue.

Ogie said that based on his source, the actress had no idea about the gag order. “Sabi nga ng aking source, unaware si Claudine sa gag order. Had she known, hindi raw magsasalita o magpapa-interview si Claudine about the issue kahit kanino,” he said.

Then, Ogie said that perhaps this was Claudine’s lawyer’s lapses. The talent manager-vlogger added that from what he heard, the Optimum Star will change her legal counsel. “Dahil tuloy tuloy daw magsasampa ng kaso itong si Claudine,” he said, adding that this included the VAWC (violence against women and children) case. With this Mama Loi said that this issue has a long way to go.
