What Coleen Garcia expressed about the expectations from her.

Celebrity mom Coleen Garcia expressed her thoughts on the expectations and realities of her life as a mom, actress, and wife.

Indeed, not everything is what it seems in social media. We get to see all the glams and good things about a person through their accounts but this is not actually everything about the. Let’s clarify one thing though, there’s nothing pretentious about this. We only get to have the freedom to choose on what to share and most of us are afraid of showing everyone the other side of our life.

The bare face, the messy rooms, and among other things that are not, as what they say, “Instagrammable”. They are often kept away from the public and recently, Coleen Garcia lamented over a similar matter but in her post, it was about motherhood.

Coleen is married to Billy Crawford and they now have a son named Amari, an absolute social media darling. Behind the made up looks, she shared what people don’t see to draw a solid line between the assumptions of many people online and the reality of her life.

The 31-year-old actress posted a picture of her in their newly made-over home and the caption that came with it said, “What you think I look at home.”

In the next photo, she shared a photo of herself in her most candid situation – no makeup, raw, no filter, frizzy hair, eye bags, and all. She wrote, a contrast to her previous post, “But actually, I look like this.”

She knows that she looks sick, pale, and depressed but this appearance is not because of vices, marital problems, or depression. She expressed, “No, it’s not ’cause of bisyo. It’s not ’cause of unbearable stress or marital problems or depression. It’s because I’m human. We all are. I break out, I get tired, I’m getting older every day.”

Garcia then went on in lamenting how people online can easily bash something they don’t like or something that is not pretty and at the same, call something “fake” if they’re made and pretty.

She continued in saying that internet should be a safer place for everybody by avoiding all the bashing and speculation. This is for both celebrity and non-celebrity users.

“Anyone can bash, judge, and speculate. Or we can lessen that and make it SAFER for people to be authentic. ‘Cause no one should ever feel like they need to put on a mask to be accepted.”
