Eat Bulaga: Celebrities Express Reactions On Show’s Departure

TVJ announced that Eat Bulaga is leaving TAPE and here are the reactions of these famous personalities.

EAT BULAGA – Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon made an important announcement and here are some of the reactions of celebs to this.

In a previous article, “Eat Bulaga” main hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon announced that after a series of meetings and negotiations, it has been decided that the show will leave TV production company Television and Production Exponent (Tape) Inc.

They were actually not allowed to have a live show today but continued anyway.

“Starting today, May 31, 2023, we are saying goodbye to Tape Incorporated,” says Sotto in the program. He added, “We are honored to be able to deliver happiness from Batanes to Jolo and become a part of your life. Thank you all so much. Until then. Wherever destiny takes us, tuloy ang isang libo’t isang tuwa.”

De Leon stressed that they are just having a day off, they are not signing off. GMA also released an official statement. The network expressed sadness over the results as the block time contract is still until the end of 2024.

The announcement came as a big surprise to many people including the celebrities.

Ice Seguerra expressed uncertainty about what to feel whether it should be sadness or happiness. He is sad as it reached this point and happy at the same time as they are finally free.

Ciara Sotto posted a video as they were not allowed to go live on air. In the caption of her post, she expressed hopeful words despite this happening felt like the end of an era. Several celebrities commented on her post including Camille Prats, Mariel Padilla, Sunshine Cruz, Judy Ann Santos, Danica Pingris, Kakai Bautista, Regine Velasquez, Ruffa Gutierrez, Shaina Magdayao, Vina Morales, Charlene Gonzalez, Pops Fernandez, Marissa Sanchez, and many others.

“This is sad,” says Asia’s Songbird while the Queen Of Drama dropped three broken hearts emojis.

“Eat Bulaga is TVJ,” says the meaningful comment from Padilla. Sanchez commented, “I was a host of Eat Bulaga for one year. Year 2000-2001 and I must say, this breaks my heart as being part of it.”
