38 hurt in Ilocos Norte after magnitude 6.4 quake

LAOAG CITY, Ilocos Norte — The 6.4 magnitude earthquake that struck northern Luzon late Tuesday night, Oct. 25, left at least 38 persons injured in Ilocos Norte.

Gov. Matthew Marcos Manotoc said in a statement that two of the 38 were seriously injured and being treated at the Governor Roque B. Ablan Sr. Memorial Hospital in this city.

In a separate statement, Laoag City Mayor Michael Marcos Keon said construction workers of a government project at the city center suffered minor injuries Tuesday night.
