KIDNAP INCIDENT – A group of kidnappers on board a white van in Cuenca, Batangas abducted a 32-year-old man.

A witness has shared the video footage of the kidnapping incident. In the video, it can be seen that the man identified Remzen Sison is shouting while seeking help from other residents in Barangay Poblacion Uno.

The residents immediately reported the incident to the police authorities. About four to five unidentified men riding a white van allegedly kidnapped the victim, according to Cuenca Police.

“Siya ay okay naman dito sa kanilang mamamayan. Hindi naman masyadong kilala yung tao, kaya ngayon kami talaga nag-aano rin ng posibleng motibo,” Cuenca Police Station chief Police Major Ernie Delos Santos said.

According to the reports, the victim was walking along the street when the unidentified men wearing bonnets apprehended him and put him inside the van. The van immediately escaped and went to San Jose, Batangas.

The police authorities are still trying to verify the van’s plate number. The police stated that they are still investigating the crime’s motive, although they have raised the possibility that he was involved in illegal substances.

“Natapos niya naman [rehab]. Nagbago naman siguro siya sa kanyang …. Nagbago siya sa inaano ng gobyerno sa kanya. ‘Yun din ay tinitignan natin yung ganyang motibo,” Delos Santos said.

The victim’s family refused to give a statement regarding the incident but agree to release a statement once they see progress. The cops are still investigating the incident.
