6 new COVID-19 cases reported in Cagayan

TUGUEGARAO CITY – Six new COVID-19 cases were reported in Cagayan on Friday, five of them from this city, provincial health office records showed.

Provincial health officer Carlos Cortina said up to only three cases were recorded in the province in the past weeks.

Cagayan has nine active COVID-19 cases as of Saturday.

Aside from Tuguegarao, new cases were detected in the municipalities of Alcala and Gonzaga.

Cagayan Governor Manuel Mamba is urging his constituents to continue observing COVID-19 health protocols.
