Ogie Diaz Receives Support From Claudine Amid Case Filed Bea

Claudine Barretto shows support for Ogie Diaz

Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz received support from Optimum Star Claudine Barretto amid his legal battle against Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo.

Bea filed cyber libel cases against Ogie and his co-hosts in Showbiz Update, and veteran showbiz insider Cristy Fermin and her Showbiz Now Na and Cristy Ferminute co-hosts. The Kapuso actress cried foul over the alleged “malicious” statements that Ogie and Cristy had on their respective shows.

Previously, Ogie, in his initial statement, apologized to showbiz reporters who had been asking his side of the story regarding this matter. On the other hand, he stressed that without pretensions, they are still wishing that Bea and Dominic Roque will end up together.

Cristy also shared her thoughts on the case she is facing right now. She said that complaints like this are part of their job as showbiz reporters/insiders/commentators. However, Cristy contradicted Bea’s statement that they are doing their vlogs just for views.

Amid this issue, Cristy and Ogie received bashing online. Many netizens slammed them and their shows.

On the other hand, Ogie Diaz received support from Claudine Barretto amid his current legal battle. Based on the article in Inquirer, a day after Ogie released his interview with Claudine, the Optimum Star sent goodies to the talent manager-vlogger.

Claudine gave Ogie a cake and the latter shared a post on Instagram Story about this. It was a fondant cake that was formed as lollipops which spelled out: “We love you, friend.” 

This also came with a quote from Claudine saying, “From your supporters who believed and loved you dearly.” Ogie Diaz featured the song That’s What Friends Are For by Dionne Warwick as background music. He also thanked Claudine Barretto. “Maraming salamat, @claubarretto,” the talent manager-vlogger wrote in the caption of his post.
