Rita Daniela Shares Experience Working With Bea Alonzo
Rita Daniela is part of Bea Alonzo’s new Kapuso series
Kapuso singer-actress Rita Daniela shared her experience working with A-list actress Bea Alonzo for the first time in the upcoming series Widow’s War.
Aside from being known as one of the members of Queendom, a group composed of prominent female Kapuso singers, Rita has also done acting stints. Her latest acting project is the upcoming series featuring Bea, as well as, Carla Abellana.
Based on the article in PEP, Rita already started filming for this series and she shared her thoughts on working with Bea.
“It’s my first time to work with Bea and Carla, so it’s very, very exciting,” the singer-actress shared.
Rita Daniela plays the mysterious character Rebecca Palacios in this series which is expected to air in July. This served as her comeback acting project after giving birth. The last acting project she did was two years ago.
She admitted that it was quite a new feeling for her when she attended their story conference.
“Parang feeling ko, ‘Hala! Ito na pala ang nangyayari ngayon!’ And first time kong makakita muli ng mga kapwa ko artista, mga bigating artista. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam!” the actress-singer enthused.
Rita also “naninibago” when she had her first shooting day. She said that it is because this time, she is a mom, as she keeps on thinking about her child and the people back home. However, when it comes to acting, she does not have that feeling because she sees familiar faces.
When asked how was it like working with Bea Alonzo, Rita Daniela smiled and said, “Ay! OK naman, masaya… actually medyo textmates kami. So, masaya. She’s very nice.”
She also said that Bea is simple and just quiet. Rita also admitted that the first time she did a scene with the former Kapamilya actress was an overwhelming feeling for her. “So, parang… siyempre, hindi ko rin mapigilan noong first day ko siyang nakaeksena, na-starstruck din ako,” Rita Daniela said.
She also shared that she watched a lot of Bea’s movies and it was an amazing experience that they have a scene together.
