Absent-Minded Woman Tries to Enter Wrong Parked Car During Her ‘Lutang’ Moment
A woman from Cagayan de Oro City brought smiles to many online with a video of her accidentally trying to enter the wrong parked car.
“Lutang moments” is a Filipino term used to describe moments of absent-mindedness or confusion. It refers to times when someone seems to be lost in thought or not fully aware of their surroundings, often resulting in humorous or embarrassing situations.
Recently, @wateverjustblack, a TikTok user, shared a video of her accidentally trying to enter the wrong parked car on April 11, 2024. The video quickly went viral and received various reactions from netizens.
Nicole Gascon, the woman featured in the video, explained that she had gone to a convenience store to grab an energy drink while her coworkers waited for her across the road.
However, upon returning, her mind played tricks on her, causing her to mistake another car for her coworker’s vehicle.
Gascon recounted the funny encounter, stating that both she and the owner of the wrong car were shocked. Despite the initial confusion, Gascon apologized to the car owner and left the scene.

“The owner [of the wrong car] inside was shocked at napasigaw, same kami ng reaction. Nag-sorry na lang ako at umalis,” Gascon recalled.
The woman shared that she couldn’t help but laugh upon realizing her mistake, especially knowing that her coworkers inside the car were likely teasing her about it.
“The reason why I’m laughing paglabas kasi nag-sink in na lahat and I know pinagtatawanan na rin ako ng mga kasama ko sa loob ng car,” she added.
