BING VELASCO – The mother of Filipino actors Patrick and Chesca Garcia passed away at age 70.

Patrick Garcia and Chesca Garcia Kramer’s mother, Maria Celeste Dahlia “Bing” Velasco, passed away on April 20, 2024. She was 70.

Patrick and Chesca’s older sibling, Pichon Garcia, confirmed their mother’s passing through a social media post. It stated: “To those who knew, loved, and cherished every moment of our mom’s vibrant and beautiful personality. Final wishes, messages and service will be on April 26, Friday 7 p.m.”

Bing Velaco’s cremated remains will be interred at Arlington Memorial Chapels on Araneta Avenue, Quezon City, starting this Tuesday, April 23, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. The memorial service will take place on Friday, April 26, at 7 p.m.

Bing is survived by her children Pichon, Chesca, and Patrick, and her grandchildren.

Chesca and Patrick Garcia are deeply mourning the sudden passing of their mother, so they have not yet provided statements regarding this very sad event in their lives.

Doug Kramer, Chesca’s husband, also expressed his reaction and tribute to his departed mother-in-law.

“I’ll never forget when I had to look for you in Amsterdam because you got lost for miles away from us because you enjoyed shopping so much, and seeing all the beautiful artwork there.

“You used Maps and walked in circles because you clicked the icon of traveling as a vehicle.

“That Europe trip was a dream come true for you, we’re so happy we brought you along to enjoy it with us. The best mom in law anyone could have!

“The OG, the coolest Grandma, the funniest, and one who never runs out of chika because she knows all the issues on FB. We love you so much momsy!”
