Dimples Romana is part of the upcoming series ‘High Street’

Actress Dimples Romana admitted that there is somehow a “paninibago” that she feels as she returns to acting through the Kapamilya series High Street.

The said series is Senior High’s seguel which featured young stars Andrea Brillantes, Elijah Canlas, and many more. With a star-studded cast, the series received a positive response from the viewers. With its popularity, a sequel was decided to be made to continue the story.

For the sequel, Dimples is one of the new cast members. The last series that she did was The Iron Heart which featured Richard Gutierrez and it ended last year. From that, the actress did several projects outside of acting.

Dimples Romana became the new host of Gud Morning Kapatid on TV5. Aside from hosting, the celebrity mom also became busy with her family. In a recent interview, based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, the actress shared her thoughts on this new acting project.

“This is the first time that I’m going back to acting after Iron Heart. After that we have traveled for ASAP Milan. Then I had to go to my child in Australia. Ngayon, I’m back to acting, I’m so excited,” Dimples said.

However, she admitted that she feels a certain nervousness about going back to acting after many months of not doing it. The actress said that this is the longest acting break she had so far in her career.

“I haven’t been acting for months. Seven months, I have never had a pause this long in between teleseryes,” she shared.

Meanwhile, Dimples Romana shared how proud she is of her “baby” Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo who recently had her housewarming party. They became close because of the remake series Mara Clara. Dimples played Kathryn’s mom in the series. Years after they did that project, they remained friends, together with Julia Montes who was also part of the series.

Dimples said that Kathryn grew up as an innocent child with big dreams. She is happy to see that the younger actress is now beginning to fulfill those dreams not just for herself but most especially for her family. This moment is sentimental for both of them.
