Many people are undeniably coffee lovers. In fact, a lot of individuals love going into coffee shop and cafes hopping. While it is great, at home, you can also make your own ice cold coffee jelly to beat the heat away while enjoying the comfort of your own space.

The coffee jelly is a favorite dessert of many people. Howevere, this is not as widely-available as many other desserts and cold treats out there. Meanwhile, below, you can check the steps on how to make a coffee jelly and the ingredients that you will need.

The coffee jelly is one of the most affordable cold treats that you can make. Here are the ingredients that you will need to make a coffee jelly:

  • 1 box (1 ounce) unflavored gelatin
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 1 can (14 ounces) condensed milk
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 can (12.8 ounces) table cream
  • 4 cups water

Aside from the short list of ingredients, there is also an easy process in making this delicious ice cold treat. Here are the steps on how to make some coffee jelly at home or wherever you are:

Step 1

Pour in one (1) cup of cold water in a large bowl. Add the gelatin and let it stand for around one (1) minute or until the powder starts to bloom.

Step 2

Pour in the remaining three (3) cups of water in a sauce pot. Add the instant coffee and sugar and stir until the powder and the sugar are fully dissolved.

Step 3

Gradually pour in the three (3) cups of boiling coffee to the bloomed gelatin. Make sure to constantly stir it for around two (2) to three (3) minutes or until the gelatin is completed dissolved and there are no granules left visible.

Step 4

Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and allow it to cool. Put it inside the fridge for around two (2) to three (3) hours or until the mixture has completely set.

Step 5

Mix the condensed milk and table cream in a bowl. Stir until the milk and the cream have completely mixed.

Step 6

Take out the gelatin and cut it into one-inch cubes. Divide the gelatin among the serving cups and pour in sweetened cream on top of it. You can add the whipped cream as garnish. The coffee jelly is best served cold. Enjoy your cold treat!
