It was the ‘best birthday ever’ for actress Ria Atayde as she finally tied the knot with the actor.

Kapamilya stars Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo finally tied the knot and here are some photos that the actress shared on her Instagram.

Ria Atayde looked absolutely gorgeous!

On the day of her birthday, Atayde tied the knot with actor Zanjoe Marudo, a month after they officially announced their engagement. They happily tied the knot in a civil ceremony was officiated by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte.

The civil wedding was attended by mostly immediate family members followed by a reception at Concept Space Manila along Congressional Ave. Reportedly, the guests thought that it would just be a simple gathering for her birthday but it turned out to be the reception of their wedding which was earlier held.

According to some reports, a church wedding will definitely occur but not anytime soon. Overall, the event was chill and laid back – a reflection of how they are as a couple.

Days after the announced of Ria and Zanjoe’s wedding, the actress finally shared some official snaps from the event. The caption of her recent post containing the photos from the wedding said: “Best birthday ever.”

It was indeed.

Ria was a simple yet stunning bride in her off-shoulder dress. The wedding dress was made by Martin Bautista while her look was the result of makeup artist Denise Ochoa and hairstylist Anton Papa’s efforts put together.

It was Ria’s request to have a “simple and classic setup for their wedding”. As for the groom, the also went classic looking dashing in a black tuxedo. He attached a small medal in the small part of his coat containing the image of his late mom.
