Enchong Dee Appreciates Vice Ganda More After Doing MMFF Movie

Enchong Dee received support from Vice Ganda

Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee shared that he appreciates Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda more now after he did his Summer Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 movie Here Comes The Groom.

In the soul-swapping movie, Enchong’s character swapped with Kaladkaren’s character. This was a big challenge for the actor as he needed to act like a transwoman in the movie and Kaladkaren also has a challenging role in becoming a man in this project.

In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Enchong Dee showed appreciation to his friend Vice Ganda.

“Mas naramdaman ko yung importance, mas na-appreciate ko lalo si Vice kasi ang laki pala ng responsibilidad na binibitbit niya nu’ng time niya sa Metro Manila Filmfest,” the actor said.

For many years, Vice has had his comedy movie entries in MMFF and these became blockbuster films. “Kailangan tumawa ng tao, kailangan ngumiti ng tao. Kailangan nila maramdaman na okay, for two hours kahit paano nakalimutan nila na ang mahal-mahal pala ng mga bilihin,” Enchong said.

The Kapamilya actor also shared that Vice organized a block screening for his movie. Then, Enchong shared what the comedienne-host said in his message before he went to Canada.

“Papalipad na siya ng Canada pero nag message siya sa akin na, ‘Gusto ko lang sabihin sa yo na I love you, sobra kitang mahal, and in-invite ko yung Little Ponies ko sa block screening,’” Enchong said.

The actor replied to Vice with “I love you too” and he said that he really appreciates the support he got. For Enchong, it seemed that he got the blessing from the MMFF royalty.

Despite that this was a very challenging project for him, Enchong Dee said that it is all worth it. He said that he applied his 16-year experience in showbiz in this film as he wants to be an interesting actor to his audience.
