Philippines’ own ‘Anna Delvey’ arrested in Taguig City

MANILA, Philippines — In what would seem like something straight from a television show, an alleged scammer who for years posed as a businesswoman was arrested in Taguig City for swindling millions of pesos from several victims.

The supposed scammer, identified as Mikaela Veronica Cabrera, 26 years old, was arrested on Friday at a condominium in Taguig City at exactly 6:36 p.m., based on a police report obtained from the National Capital Region Police Office.
