Netizens shared their negative reactions to this concert poster featuring Bamboo
Singer Bamboo was bashed by netizens for joining artists who are part of the concert titled Tingog ng Pasasalamat.
Coming from the 90s band Rivermaya, Bamboo or Francisco Mañalac, paved his way to stardom. His charm and talent continued to give entertainment to his fans even after he went solo.
He was given a chance to do shows on the Kapamilya network. For many instances already, he has done concerts and shows in different parts of the Philippines and abroad. The singer even became one of the mentors on The Voice Philippines.
However, an upcoming stint of the singer, apparently, did not sit well with many netizens. It is because of rapper Andrew E’s social media post, which apparently, has been deleted already.
Twitter fan page/parody page @AltKapamilyaCH shared a screenshot of the said concert poster with the title “Tingog ng Pasasalamat.” It can be seen that Bamboo is the main performer as his image and his name are bigger than the other artists.
Based on the poster, Queen Mother Karla Estrada, bands Plethora and ILT Band will also perform, aside from Andrew E. It was stated that the concert or series of concerts will be held on February 12 in Cebu, February 17 in Tagum, February 25 in Quezon City, and March 4 in Tacloban.
It is known to many that Tingog Partylist was under the Uniteam of President Bongbong Marcos and Vice President Sara Duterte. In a follow-up tweet, @AltKapamilyaCH said that upon visiting the Facebook Page of Andrew, the said concert poster can no longer be seen.
“So, I went back sa Facebook ni Andrew E. and the post was already deleted Buti na lang may proof pa rin ako,” the fan page admin stated.
Because of this concert poster, there were netizens who expressed negative reactions to Bamboo. Here are some of the Twitter posts against the singer.
