PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Wednesday (November 30)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the country will have a generally fair weather with chances of rain.

On Wednesday (November 30, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The intertropical convergence zone will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the intertropical convergence zone will be affecting Caraga, Davao Region, and Leyte Provinces as well as Mindanao.

“Malaking bahagi ng bansa natin ay patuloy na makakaranas ng maaliwalas na panahon, pero posible pa rin ang isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, partikular na dito sa bahagi ng Luzon, at ng Kabisayaan,” Pagasa weather specialist Obet Badrina said.

The ITCZ will bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

The rest of Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience similar weather condition.

The coastal water condition over Extreme Northern Luzon will be moderate to rough. The remaining parts of the country will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions, according to the weather bureau.

Habang makikita niyo ang intertropical convergence zone o ITCZ ay nakakaapekto pa rin sa bahagi ng Mindanao, kung saan inaasahan natin ang malaking tsansa ng pag-ulan, partikular na dito sa mga lalawigan sa Leyte Island, gayundin sa bahagi ng Caraga, at Davao Region,” Badrina added.
