DSWD: 25,600 relief packs readied in areas to be hit by Karding in Calabarzon

LUCENA CITY — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in the Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) region has prepared more than 25,600 relief packs as the country braces for Super Typhoon Karding (international name: Noru).

The DSWD Region IV-A said as of Sept. 24 at 7 p.m., 13,882 family food packs and 11,737 family kits worth P41.5 million have been prepared for affected residents in the region.
