Robredo turns over Angat Buhay housing units in Albay
LIGAO CITY, Albay, Philippines — Former Vice President Leni Robredo led the turnover of housing units at Angat Buhay Village in Guinobatan town in Albay province on Sunday, Aug. 14.
The Angat Buhay houses in Barangay Mauraro were given to 100 beneficiaries, Guinobatan Vice Mayor Ann Ongjoco said.
Most of the recipients lost their houses due to lahar flow when Typhoon Rolly (international name: Goni) struck Albay in November 2020.
Henedina Peria, 56, resident of Barangay San Francisco and one of the recipients, thanked Robredo for her generosity.
“Finally I have a new house to stay,” Peria said.
