Public warned of fake Senate Facebook, LinkedIn accounts

MANILA, Philippines — The Senate of the Philippines has warned the public against Facebook and LinkedIn accounts purporting to be its legitimate accounts.

Senate Secretary Renato Bantug Jr. on Saturday sounded the alarm over reports that several social media pages are claiming to be that of the “Senate of the Philippines,” and are mimicking its seal to disseminate false and misleading information.
