Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte Visits Cebu: “Sara All 2022”?

SARA ALL 2022 – Amid calls from her supporters to run for president in the Election 2022, the Davao City Mayor confirmed a visit in Cebu.

The period set by the Commission on Elections (

COMELEC

) for the filing of the Certificates of Candidacy (COCs) is over but substitutions are still possible until November 15. Undeniably, the supporters of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte are still urging her to run for president.

Previously, the Davao City Mayor expressed that she has no intention to run for the presidency in 2022. She is the presidential bet of her political party,

Hugpong ng Pagbabago,

and her party mates gave her time to reconsider her decision for the presidential bid.

After

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte

previously confirmed that he is running for vice president under PDP-Laban Cusi wing, the presidential daughter put an end to possibilities that she will take the presidential race. She stressed that they have talked that only one (1) of them will run for a national post.

However, unexpectedly, the 76-year-old President did not file his candidacy for vice president in the Election 2022. He announced his retirement from politics instead. The move undeniably triggered the calls from the Davao City Mayor’s supporters for her to run for president.

Mayor Sara has filed her candidacy for a re-election in Davao City. She previously sought understanding from her supporters as she wants to finish her three (3) terms in the city.

Recently, amid calls for her to change her mind and run for president in 2022, Mayor Sara Duterte visited the vote-rich island of Cebu. The Davao City Mayor confirmed her visit in the island.

, the presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor stated that he met with her cousin in Cebu, 5th District Board Member Red Duterte. She arrived in the island wearing a green hoody jacket stating – “Sara All 2022”.
