THE SUPREME COURT (SC) has expanded the operational capacity of its offices after mobility restrictions were eased in the National Capital Region with the shift to the alert level 3 quarantine system, but the personal filing of pleadings and other court submissions remain prohibited.

In a memorandum signed by Acting Chief Justice Estela M. Perlas-Bernabe on Monday and released on Tuesday, the High Court said the operational capacity of all its offices are increased to 30% from Oct. 20 to 29, with working hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The High Court has been operating with a 25% skeletal workforce since Aug. 23 after the capital was placed on the second strictest quarantine level.
