said that she has accepted that her son was defeated by the younger boxer in Las Vegas, Nevada. She said that it’s just natural that someone would lose and win whenever there’s a fight. She also said that she will convince her son to retire from boxing because of his age.

Broadcaster Korina Sanchez took to her IG account to defend the fighting senator against bashers. She defended the achievement of the boxer and the honors he brought to the Philippines and to his countrymen.

“Whatever negativity you might have to say: Fact is, Manny Pacquiao—- from NOTHING—- singlehandedly put the Philippines and the Filipinos on the world map under one of the brightest lights possible. What discipline. What courage. What patriotism to go through all that for a win for his country —- through most of his life.”

At the end of her post, Korina Sanchez assured Pacman that no matter what happens, he will always be the Philippine’s boxing champion.

“Always our Champ. Manny Pacquiao,”

she wrote.
