Vendor nabbed in Calapan City drug buy-bust
CITY OF CALAPAN – A vendor was arrested in a buy-bust operation Sunday afternoon in this city, police said.
Suspect Jojie Malakas, 27, vendor and a resident of Barangay (village) Buhuan, was arrested at about 3 p.m. in Barangay Sapul after he sold a plastic sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) to a poseur buyer in exchange for P500.
Confiscated from the suspect were three sachets containing suspected shabu weighed about one gram and amounted to about P6,800.
A charge for violation against the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is being readied against the suspect who is under police custody.
