Fuel firms roll back LPG prices

FUEL companies announced big-time reductions in the prices of its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products effective on May 1, 2021.

In an advisory, Phoenix LPG Phils.,Inc. said it imposed a price cut of P3.20 per kilogram on its Phoenix Super LPG products and P1.80 per liter in Auto LPG products.

Petron also implemented a P3.20 per kilo rollback (VAT-inclusive) in LPG prices.

“AutoLPG prices will likewise decrease by P1.80 per liter at the same time. These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of May,” it said.

Likewise, Solane said it slashed the price of its LPG brand by P2.84 per kilo, effective at 6 a.m. on Saturday.

LPG prices are adjusted once a month.
