Active COVID-19 cases in Pampanga rise to 5,754

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga



The active COVID-19 cases in Pampanga rose to 5,754 after it recorded 323 new cases on Monday, August 30, local data showed.

Since last year, the provincial government has recorded a total of 34,612 total COVID-19 cases. Of these, 27,132 have recovered while 1,726 have died.

The numbers do not include Angeles City, a highly urbanized locality that is independent of the province.

The capital city of San Fernando has the most active cases at 1,470, followed by Mabalacat City with 654, and Guagua with 488.
