NCAA volleyball: Letran, San Sebastian end streaks

MANILA, Philippines—Letran snapped Lyceum’s six-game winning streak, 24-26, 25-20, 25-22, 25-22, in the NCAA Season 99 women’s volleyball tournament at San Juan Arena on Tuesday. The Lady Knights’ victory pushed their record to 5-2 while also snapping a streak of their own and bouncing back from losses over undefeated College of St. Benilde and Mapua. The troika of Gia Maquilang, Yen Martin and Judiel Nitura uncorked 18, 16 and 15 points, respectively to scratch the Lady Pirates’ unblemished record after seven games.
