The leads of 47th Gawad Urian are Kathryn Bernardo and Cedrick Juan and here’s the official list of nominees.

Actors Kathryn Bernardo and Cedrick Juan were among the leads of the 47th Gawad Urian list of nominees and here are the others.

“A Very Good Girl” actress Kathryn Bernardo and “GomBurZa” Cedrick Juan were among the lead nominees of 2024 Gawad Urian awards because of their spectacular performances in the said films.

To recall, Juan was also the MMFF 2023 Best Actor for his in the same film. The Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino released the names of the official nominees for this year on Thursday, May 9. The awards ceremony be on June 8 held at the De La Salle University.

In the Best Actress category, the other actresses nominated are Gabby Padilla for “Gitling”, Max Eigenmann for “Raging Grace”, and Charlie Dizon for “Third World Romance”.

Not on the list are the MMFF 2023 leading ladies such as Vilma Santos, Marian Rivera, Sharon Cuneta, Eugene Domingo, Pokwang, and Beauty Gonzalez.

As for the Best Actor category, vying for the awards are Romnick Sarmenta, Paolo O’Hara, Euwenn Mikaell, Jansen Magpusao, and Carlo Aquino.
