Yassi Pressman talked about being a leading lady

Actress Yassi Pressman, the leading lady of actor Ruru Madrid in the Kapuso series Black Rider, shared tips on how to be a good leading lady.

It was in August last year when it was announced that Yassi was the new leading lady of Ruru in GMA’s primetime action-drama series. The series is about a delivery driver who became a hero in the streets.

Yassi portrays the character of Bane, the love interest of Ruru’s character Elias. Bane was a former snatcher and eventually, she became one of Elias’s closest friends.

In one of the recent episodes, Bane confessed her love for Elias, however, the latter could not accept this as he is focused on his other role, being the Black Rider.

Yassi Pressman was asked in a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, she was asked to give tips on how to become a good leading lady.

The actress highlighted the importance of knowing the character very well. “Ang tip para maging ikaw na ikaw ‘yung character na gusto mong i-portray, kailangan pag-aralan mo talaga kung paano siya kumilos, kung paano siya magsalita, kung anong koneksiyon niya sa pamilya niya, sa mga kalaban niya. ‘Yung buong aspect siguro ng pagkatao niya, kailangan alam mo,” she said.

Yassi’s character will face a major change as her real identity will be revealed. This will give her another challenge for her acting.

Meanwhile, aside from Yassi Pressman’s blooming career, her love life is also blooming. The actress is currently in a relationship with Camarines Sur Governer Luigi Villafuerte. Speculations about their romance started to circulate when their sweet photos and videos surfaced online. Yassi also shared a sweet post for the politician last year.
