Will Nadine Lustre do a project in GMA?

Actress Nadine Lustre had a meeting with GMA executives and this garnered speculation that she will transfer to the Kapuso network.

Nadine is one of the homegrown talents of ABS-CBN. She went through a loveteam stage in her career with James Reid who also became her boyfriend in real life. Together they did many TV and movie projects as the JaDine loveteam.

Eventually, Nadine, as well as, James ventured into their solo careers. In recent years, the actress focused on doing movies, and all her hard work paid off because of the acting recognitions she received.

In a recent post on the fan account Kapuso United on X, a photo showed Nadine had a Zoom meeting with Kapuso executives. “LOOK: Nadine Lustre in GMA Pictures movie soon?” the fan account wrote in the caption of the post.

Based on the article by entertainment writer Salve Asis in Pang-Masa, this meeting that the actress had with the Kapuso network’s executives created speculations that she might become a Kapuso.

Asis added that this might be the start that Nadine will be seen in a Kapuso show and not just in a movie produced by GMA. Fans of the actress expressed excitement for her future endeavors with the Kapuso network. “Waiting for #NadineLustre projects!” a fan commented. As of this writing, the actress and even GMA have not released a statement yet about this.

Meanwhile, Nadine Lustre admitted in a recent interview that her “morena” skin was an insecurity for her in the past. The actress was also influenced by the belief that only “mestizas” deserve a space in the entertainment industry. However, she was able to prove that even a “morena” like her can shine brightly in showbiz.
