Joel Cruz Discloses That His Children Know the True Identity of Their Russian Mother

JOEL CRUZ – Aficionado’s Joel Cruz revealed that his eight children know the true identity of their Russian mom.

In his interview on “Tunay na Buhay,” Joel Cruz revealed that he spent nearly PhP 54 million for the surrogacy of his eight children Prince Sean, Princess Synne, Prince Harvey, Prince Harry, Charles, Charlotte, Zaid, and Ziv.

Joel admitted that his children know their origins and the identity of their mother. Joel is known as the Lord of Scents because of his perfume business.

During his visit to “Sarap, ‘Di Ba?,” Joel Cruz said that he had revealed to his children the identity of their mother. Joel shared that at first, he was afraid of his children asking about the identity of their mother.

“Dati kinakatakutan ko ‘yun noong bago pa lang ‘yung mga bata, ‘yung maliliit pa lang sila. Parang 3 years old ‘yung first set of twins, tinanong ako, sabi niya where’s mommy? Kinabahan talaga ako, ito na, ito na yata ‘yun.”

All of Joel’s children are from one surrogate mother named Lilia from Russia. Joel’s first twins are Prince Sean and Princess Synne. They were born in Russia through IVF or in vitro fertilization.

According to Joel, even though he felt nervous, he told the truth to the children.

“She’s in Russia sabi kong ganoon. Sabi niya okay, so wala ng follow up questions. Sabi ko okay hanggang doon na lang tayo kasi hindi na sila nagtatanong e.”

Joel also revealed that he could take the children to meet their mother if they wanted to.

“Kung gusto nilang makita, they have the freedom, we can go there, they can meet their mom.”

According to Joel, he chose to tell the children their true situation and their origins. He said, “Ikinukuwento ko naman kasi sa kanila na ‘yung mommy nila she’s very generous, she’s very caring sa akin, na pinagbigyan niya ako magkaroon ng anak. Pero ang alam nila ‘yung mommy nila may daddy, pamilya sila, may anak siya. Talagang tinulungan niya lang ako para magkaanak. Alam nila ‘yun na ganoon ang sitwasyon namin. May pamilya talaga ang mommy nila doon.”

Aside from their mother’s life, Joel also admitted to the children that money was spent on them. “Alam din nila na may money involvement, sinabi ko rin ‘yun. Para malaman nila na ganito ang katotohanan. Ayoko kasi magsikreto, e.”

“Kagaya nito, na-interview mo ako, alam ng tao lahat ng buhay ko. Ayoko na may manggaling sa ibang tao, na nagsinungaling ako,” he added.
