Driven by frustration and anger, a female resident identified as Karen Fernandez took matters into her own hands, wielding a chainsaw to cut down the post holding the basketball ring.

Despite the obvious risks posed to motorists and pedestrians alike, she proceeded with her actions, seemingly unaware or unconcerned about the potential results.
