Christian Bautista Reveals Funny Request For Jose Mari Chan

CHRISTIAN BAUTISTA – Singer-actor Christian Bautista has a request for Filipino Christmas icon Jose Mari Chan.

The Christmas songs of Jose Mari Chan re-emerge annually to welcome the holiday season. Memes about him peep on social media days before the “ber” months begin, and he is nothing but pleased to be one of the “symbols of Philippine Christmas.”

A few of his well-known tracks comprise “Christmas in Our Hearts” and “A Perfect Christmas.” Additionally, he launched a collection of Christmas tunes in 2019 as a component of his album “Going Home to Christmas,” initially dropped in 2012.

It seems Christian Bautista couldn’t bear the extreme heat anymore, so he jokingly imagined asking Jose Mari Chan to bring in the “ber” months early for cooler weather. Bautista shared a photo of himself with Chan, taken in November last year, on his Instagram page last Friday, April 26.

In the caption, the singer included a playful conversation he made-up with Chan, whom he affectionately referred to as “JMC,” incorporating mentions of their songs.

“Sir JMC, can we just stop and talk awhile? Kailangan na po namin ang boses niyo para lumamig nang konti. Napakainit ng panahon po, sobra!” Bautista wrote.

Chan supposedly replied: “April pa lang, Christian. Malayo pa September. Life is a constant change. Lalamig din sa tamang panahon.”

A part of their imaginary conversation, Christian Bautista humorously begs Chan to sing his Christmas songs, but Chan wisely suggests staying indoors to avoid the risk of heatstroke.
