Is it true that Gigi de Lana has this attitude during gigs?

Singer Gigi de Lana is allegedly consistent in being “pa-diva” and she just pretended that she fainted on stage while performing.

Gigi is one of the most in-demand singers for provincial shows. She is loved for her versatility and she covers different genres on her Gigi Vibes show online. The singer’s renditions of recent hits and classics always catch netizens’ attention.

However, it was alleged that some people did not like her attitude, especially those who were on the organizing team of certain shows.

Based on the article by Pang-Masa entertainment writer Salve Asis, Gigi de Lana and her band received complaints.

“May narinig ulit akong kuwento tungkol sa ginawa niyang paghihimatay-himatayan sa isang provincial show,” the showbiz writer said.

It was said that after performing two songs in a provincial show, Gigi complained that she was not feeling well and she collapsed after a few minutes. With this, the governor’s staff panicked as they thought she fainted.

There was an ambulance on standby but it was said that Gigi refused to be brought to the hospital. She was brought to her hotel and allegedly she was okay when they arrived at the hotel. Because of that, she was no longer able to perform.

“Hinayang na hinayang daw ang ilang staff sa ibinayad nilang talent fee kay Gigi at sa mga kabanda nito. Hindi na raw kasi bumalik sa stage ang singer at mga kasama,” the showbiz writer said.

Asis added that fortunately, there were other performers at that time so they took over the time allotted for Gigi’s performance. The writer also shared that this is not the first time they heard complaints against the singer and her band.

Allegedly, there was an instance when Gigi de Lana and her band demanded to have a separate area where they could eat and specifically told the organizers that they didn’t want a buffet style.

Asis also said that this is how the singer is even during shows abroad and allegedly Gigi demanded a higher talent fee than other veteran artists.

Back in 2023, Gigi fainted on stage while performing after getting into a car accident. As of this writing, the singer has not reacted yet to this allegation against her.
