A delivery rider was left disappointed when a customer failed to claim their parcel despite the rider’s efforts to ensure its delivery.

Recently, Jhoey Del Rosario, a Facebook user, shared the sentiments of a delivery rider who was disheartened when a customer failed to claim their parcel. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.

Del Rosario recounted the rider’s dismay, describing how he climbed a three-story building to deliver the parcel, panting heavily due to the height and scorching weather.

However, upon reaching the destination, the customer did not accept the parcel as they had not left any payment behind. The rider expressed his exhaustion and disappointment, emphasizing the physical strain endured.

The delivery rider pleaded for consideration, urging customers to be mindful of delivery processes. He emphasized the importance of leaving payment upon expecting a delivery, especially when customers plan to leave their homes.

Del Rosario urged customers to refrain from placing orders if they are uncertain about having payment ready, to avoid cancellations and rescheduling.

The hardworking employee appealed to customers to show compassion towards delivery riders who tirelessly brave the streets to ensure parcels are delivered efficiently. He emphasizes the effect of cancellations and rescheduling on riders’ earnings.
