Camille Villar On Willie Revillame’s Rumored Conflict w/ Her Family

Representative Camille Villar spoke about the rumored conflict between veteran TV host Willie Revillame and her family.

To recall, Willie signed a contract with AMBS, the company the ALLTV network, which is owned former Senator Manny Villar. The wealthy businessman has been friends with Willie for many years.

He decided not to renew his contract with GMA network for his Wowowin show and chose to transfer to ALLTV.

However, last year, he resigned from his position in ALLTV. This created speculations that a conflict happened between Willie Revillame and the Villar family. The veteran TV host recent signed a contract with TV5 and he was thankful to the network for the second chance he got.

In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Rep. Camille Villar was asked about the rumored conflict between her family and Kuya Wil.

“Very good. We have always… in the same manner that I have safe friends with our co-hosts, and they are some of my most cherished people in my life, pinaka… ang pinaka du’n, si Willie,” the congresswoman said.

She also stressed that they have a very good relationship. Rep. Villar even said that Willie is not just close to her but everyone in their family. “Ang lalim na ng pinagsamahan namin. So, our relationship is very good,” she added.

Meanwhile, Camille Villar is happy about the partnership between AMBS/ALLTV and ABS-CBN. The Villar-owned network will air the Kapamilya shows that are airing on Jeepney TV. ABS-CBN’s primetime news program TV Patrol is also currently airing on ALLTV.

The congresswoman said that hopefully their partnership with ABS-CBN will “extend even more in the future for other kinds of programs.” She added that they are open for this kind of programming and they still have a lot of plans after the partnership announcement was done.
