Bus Driver Expresses Joy as Son Passes Civil Engineers Licensure Exams
A bus driver in Paoay, Ilocos Norte couldn’t contain his happiness as he lifted his son upon passing Civil Engineering Licensure Exams.
Recently, Joel Robin Cachero, a Facebook user, shared a heartwarming video featuring his father’s unexpected reaction after learning that his son passed board examinations. The post garnered various reactions from the netizens.
Engr. Joel Robin Cachero decided to surprise his father, who has been working as a bus driver for nearly two decades. In the video, Joel revealed that his father was in Manila for work when the results were released. So, upon his father’s return, he immediately shared the good news.
“Pa, engineer na ‘ko,” Joel told his father as he got off the motorcycle taxi. “Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na may nagkakamay at nagko-congrats sa ‘yo,” he expressed.
In the video, the bus driver lifter him in joy besides kissing his son’s cheek, the father lifted him in sheer joy.
“Ang daming sakripisyo ang pinagdaanan nyo makatapos lang ako ng pag-aaral, Para sa inyo lahat ‘to Pa. BABAWI AKO SA INYO! Mahal na mahal ko kayo!” he added.
A tarpaulin celebrating the achievement hung in front of their house, showing the pride of the family. Netizens were deeply moved by the father-son moment in the video. Congratulations poured in from friends, acquaintances, and netizens for Joel.
Aside from being a registered civil engineer, Joel is also a registered master plumber, adding another feather to his cap in his academic and professional journey.
