One of the strongest marriages in the show business industry is the marriage of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and politician Kiko Pangilinan. They are now on their 28th year and in a post, the Megastar expressed that despite the “turbulence” they’ve faced, their marriage is worth fighting for.

Just like the other marriages, they too have their own problems and these problems are known because of the status as public figures. At times, the Megastar also tend to be vocal about their marital problems. Previously, she posted a photo with Kiko in “pugot na ulo” or his head cropped out.

She admitted it in a previous article. But just like the other couples, they also make up and mark their 28th anniversary, it seems like they are on good terms.

On her Instagram account on Sunday, April 28, Cuneta referred to Pangilinan as her “number one fan,” and the “best husband”. She expressed how glad she is of their marriage that is “worth fighting for” despite going through “some turbulences” in the past.

“Thank you for loving me, loving us the way you do. I love you so very much,” she added.

Meanwhile, Miel also greeted them on their anniversary and she seems like the biggest fan of her parents’ marriage. She wrote a message of appreciation over their marriage and how this kind of love molded them.

It was the love they were raised with and the kind that is patient, perseveres, and unconditional. This made her and her siblings grow as “individuals with so much love to give”.

“In a world filled with so much hatred and resentment, thank you for showing me that love always prevails,” Miel said.
