Kapamilya actor Paulo Avelino chose not to answer questions about the status of his love life in a recent interview.

Paulo has been secretive about his love life. Previously, he was linked to actress Janine Gutierrez. Rumor has it that they became a couple and allegedly they have already broken up. Amid the rumor linking them romantically, Paulo, and even Janine, did not speak about the connection that they had.

In recent months, Paulo was linked to his What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim? co-star Kim Chiu. Fans tagged them as the KimPau tandem and their supporters have been anticipating the romantic connection they have behind the camera.

In a previous interview, Kim said that they are overwhelmed by the support they get from the fans who also ship them to become a real couple. Amid the rumor linking Kim and Paulo, it was alleged that a conflict happened between Kim and Janine.

Allegedly, they did not greet each other when they met at the studio. However, the camp of Janine denied this issue.

In a recent interview on Luis Manzano’s YouTube channel, Paulo Avelino played the “shot or pass” game. The Kapamilya host asked his guest intriguing questions and he wouldn’t answer a question, he needed to drink wine.

In the question, of whether he is single right now, Paulo chose to drink. When asked if he is courting someone, the actor once again took a sip.

During the interview, Paulo Avelino also talked about his new movie with Kylie Verzosa Elevator.

The actor also shared that he is amazed by the success of his tandem with Kim Chiu. “Parang ‘pag pinagtatambal ‘yung dalawang artista na may chemistry, of course the fans keep rooting for them to be together in real life. Parang ang daming mga ano, eh,” he said.

This is the first time Paulo had a “loveteam partner.” He said that as much as possible, he avoided being tied to a loveteam partner because he wanted to grow as an actor and he wanted to study everything behind the camera.
