A kind motorcycle rider from a local ride service earns praise online for giving a free ride to a handicapped man.
Tiktok user Anne Paula Pagtolon-an or @itsmepau6572, shared a video of a local ride service driver who offered a free ride to a handicapped man. The video quickly circulated online and elicited comments from netizens.
In the video, the ‘Move It’ rider, recognizing the handicapped man as one of his previous customers, generously offered to transport him to his destination without charge. The rider’s compassion touched Anne Paula and her friends, who were dining in Rosario, Pasig, at the time.
Moved by the driver’s gesture, Anne Paula later learned from the wife of the motorcycle rider that he was merely renting the motorcycle he used for the ride, emphasizing that he was not the owner.
“The driver saw kuya struggling maglakad ang he offers to take him kung saan man siya papunta and seeing that smile ni kuya it’s free for sure. Humanity still exist,” Pagtolon-an said.
It adds another layer of importance to the act of kindness, emphasizing the driver’s compassionate nature despite his own financial constraints.
