Part of the weekly routine of many people is doing the laundry. Others find convenience in using washing machines which make the work so much easier. However, in instances where some items have stains, they need some extra effort.

Undeniably, there are stains that are hard to remove but there are ways on how you can vanish them. There are different techniques on how to remove stains most especially the common ones.

Below, you can check some of the most common stains like grease stains and chocolates stains as well as the steps on how to remove these stains and enjoy a spotless clothing once again.

Coffee Stains

Prepare one (1) quart lukewarm water and add 1/2 teaspoon of liquid dish soap and one (1) tablespoon of white vinegar. Dry out the stain using a paper towel and then soak the stained clothing/linen in the mixture for 15 minutes. Afterwards, wash like normal using an enzyme-based liquid laundry detergent.

Blood Stains

Soak the stained item in cold water and rub the stain with a dish soap. Rinse and then add a dab of hydrogen peroxide. Afterwards, wash the clothe as normal.

Grease Stains

Cover the stain using a colorless liquid soap and then rinse the stain in cold water while rubbing some dish soap into the stain. You may also use a toothbrush in rubbing the dish soap. Afterwards, cover the area using white vinegar and then rinse it again.

Grass Stains

Combine one (1) part white vinegar with two (2) parts water. Rub the mixture into the grass stain using your fingers or a toothbrush. Afterwards, rinse it and wash the clothing/linen like normal with an enzyme-based liquid laundry detergent.

Ketchup Sauce Stains

How to remove stains from chocolate? Make sure to remove the excess ketchup stain from the clothing by using a knife or a fork to avoid rubbing more stains into the fabric. Run some cold water on the back portion of the stain to help push it out. Using a toothbrush, rub an enzyme-based liquid laundry detergent on the stain and then dab some peroxide into it using a sponge. Afterwards, wash the clothing normally.

Marker Stains

Using a paper towel, blot or dry out the stain. Afterwards, dip a cotton ball into rubbing alcohol and then dab it into the stain with a paper towel behind the fabric to prevent the stain from affecting the other parts of the item. Dip a free cotton ball into cold waterand apply it to the area before washing it normally.

Crayon Stains

Scrape away the excess crayons using a knife or a spoon to prevent it from staining more. Rub some dish soap on the stained area using your fingers or a toothbrush. Wash normally using an enzyme-based liquid laundry detergent.

Chocolate Stains

How to remove stains from chocolate? First, scrape off the excess chocolate and then rinse the area with cold water. Afterwards, drop several drops of an enzyme-based liquid laundry detergent directly into the chocolate stains. Soak the item in cold water for 30 minutes and wash it based on the label.
